摘要 A friction type reinforcing member for a steel tower structure using relative displacement between a reinforcement material and a steel tower column is provided to prevent buckling by installing joints to a column of a steel tower at regular intervals, and to increase durability by forming a slot on joints of an outer column and coupling friction plates to the joints of the outer column, thereby absorbing wind power energy with friction energy. A friction type reinforcing member for a steel tower structure using relative displacement between a reinforcement material and a steel tower column comprises plural joints(900) coupling an outer column(540) and an inner column(520) of a steel tower with angles and bolts(980), a slot(925) formed on the outer column of the joint, and friction plates formed to be adjacent to the outer circumferential surface of the slot, wherein the wind power energy(1020) transferred to the steel tower is reduced by friction between the outer circumferential surface of the slot of the joint of the outer column and the friction plates.
