An apparatus for propelling and steering a boat is provided to easily remove a tangled net or rope by installing a cover to expose a propeller and obtaining a work space by opening the cover. An apparatus for propelling and steering a boat includes a fixed body(100) and a movable body(200). The fixed body is formed at a stern of the boat. The movable body is movably coupled with the fixed body. The movable body has a main block, a cover block(220), and a rudder(230). The main block is coupled with a rotary shaft rotated by driving force of an engine. The cover block is coupled with an upper part of the main block and covers a propeller(300) coupled with an end of the rotary shaft. The rudder is coupled with a lower end of the main block. The cover block has a support block(221), a pair of wing members(222,223), and a cover(224). The support block is rotatably coupled with the fixed body. The pair of wing members are coupled with both sides of the support block. The cover is rotatably hinged on a front end of the fixed body and closes an opening unit formed between the support block and the pair of wing members. |
