A user terminal and an authenticating apparatus for user authentication using user behavior pattern information, and an authentication method using the same are provided to improve the security of the user authentication and easily perform an authentication procedure. A user terminal for user authentication using user behavior pattern information includes an input unit(21), a behavior pattern information extracting unit(22), and a transmission unit(23). The input unit receives authentication information from a user for authenticating the user. The behavior pattern information extracting unit extracts the user behavior pattern information based on the authentication information. The transmission unit transmits at least one of the authentication information and the behavior pattern information. The input unit includes a typing element, and the typing element allows a user to type and input the authentication information.
