A NOZZLE ASSEMBLY HAVING A SUB-BRUSH UNIT

A nozzle assembly with a sub brush unit is provided to increase life span of the sub brush unit by selectively maintaining the contact or non-contact status with a surface to be cleaned. A nozzle assembly with a sub brush unit comprises a nozzle main body(2), a drum brush unit(5), and sub brush unit(10). The drum brush unit installed at the nozzle main body has a drum brush(28) for sweeping impurities on a surface to be cleaned by rotating in the surface to be cleaned. The sub brush unit, which is placed at one of the nozzle main body and the drum brush unit, has sub brushes for preliminarily sweeping the impurities on the surface to be cleaned. The sub brush unit selectively maintains contact or non-contact status with the surface to be cleaned, and includes a sub brush member(11), bracket members(13) whose one side is connected to the nozzle main body, and link members connecting the bracket members with the sub brush member. The sub brush member selectively maintains the contact or non-contact status with the surface to be cleaned.
