A material handling system having a safe cross rack without gear teeth is provided to rapidly transfer a warehouse ship and a warehouse vehicle by forming a guide groove line and vertical and horizontal pinions on a bottom surface of a container box. A material handling system includes a cross rack composed of first and second racks(225,226). The first rack is perpendicularly crossed with the second rack. A cross position of the first and second racks has a plane structure. An X-shape cross rack without gear teeth is formed at a position where imaginary extended teeth of the first and second racks cross each other. Horizontal and vertical pinion gears and a guide groove line are formed on a bottom surface of the material handling system. The material handling system has a container box equipped with a cross rack hanger.
