The method involves monitoring a relative position of piston rods (15, 16) to one another. The piston rods are attached to two position sensors (36, 37), which detect the deviation of the relative position of the piston rods from a reference position. Pressurizing medium pipelines (25-28) for pressurizing medium cylinders (17, 18) are closed until the reference position is achieved during deviation of the relative position from the reference position, where the pipelines are attached to a valve. An independent claim is also included for a synchronization controller for pressurizing medium cylinders.
