<p>A touch pad and a keyboard using the touch pad are provided to form a pushing member of the touch pad using rubber or a gel so as to improve a touching sense when a key of the touch pad is pushed. A touch pad(100) includes a pushing member(110), a first substrate(120), a switch(130) and a second substrate(150). The pushing member has elasticity such that the pushing member is deformed by pressure. The pushing member is formed of rubber or a gel. The first substrate comes into contact with the pushing member and transmits the pressure to the pushing member. The switch generates an input signal when the switch is in contact with the first substrate. The second substrate processes the input signal. A keyboard includes a touch pad input unit having elasticity, a recognition unit for receiving pressure of the touch pad input unit and generating an input signal, and an interface for transmitting the input signal to an external device.</p> |
