PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cleanser for resins, comprising a specific dicarboxylic acid dialkyl ester and an aliphatic alcohol compound, excellent in resin cleansability and environmental compatibility, low in the risk of ignition and useful for cleansing the mixing parts and nozzle parts of resin extruders. SOLUTION: This cleanser for resins comprises (A) the dialkyl ester of adipic acid, succinic acid or glutaric acid (the alkyl group constituting the ester is e.g. a 1-4C alkyl) and (B) a compound of the formula: RO(Cm h2m O)n H [R is a 1-8C (alkoxy)alkyl; (m) is 2, 3; (n) is 0-3] (e.g. ethylene glycol monomethyl ether, 4-methyl-2-pentanol). The components A and B are preferably contained in amounts of 10-90wt.% and 90-10wt.%, respectively. |
