A window is provided to prevent the accident caused by separation of window glass, to reduce weight and price and to improve the appearance of a building elevation. A window(1) includes a frame(10) for a window forming the installation elevation of a window frame, and a window frame(20) supporting window glass(30) and installed to the elevation of the frame for a window, wherein an airtight gasket is coupled to the inner circumference facing the indoor side of the frame for a window to be adjacent to the edge of the outdoor side of the window glass, and a dewdrops drain outlet-cum-rainwater drain hole(17) is formed on the inner circumferential surface of the frame for a window abutting on the contact area of the window glass and the outdoor side to drain off dewdrops flowing down from the window glass to the outside. The window frame is divided into an end support and an edge support supporting the circumference of the indoor side and the edge of the outdoor side respectively, wherein a dewdrops drain outlet is formed on the end support to discharge the dewdrops flowing down from the window glass of the indoor side to the dewdrops drain outlet-cum-rainwater drain hole of the frame for a window, and an airtight gasket is coupled to the inner circumference of the window frame opposite to the frame for a window to be adjacent to the frame for a window tightly. In addition, a fixing material such as hardening silicon is injected between the circumference of the outdoor side of the window glass and a window glass joint of the end support to fix the window glass. |
