<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporary arm and an assembling method of a crossarm in a power transmission line steel tower using this temporary arm, for facilitating assembling work of the crossarm for supporting a power transmission line of the power transmission line steel tower. <P>SOLUTION: A base member 2 is connected to a top part of a steel tower body A; a field assembling member 3 is connected on the base member 2; and the temporary arm 1 is assembled in the top part of the steel tower body A by projecting an arm member 4 in the horizontal direction in both side upper parts of the field assembling member 3. Next, the tip is fixed to a fixing plate 8a of the temporary arm 1, and a suspension wire 6 movably attached with a moving pulley 9 removably connected with the crossarm 5a, is respectively extended to a fixed pulley 7 arranged on the fixing plate 8a and a relay pulley 10 arranged in a connecting part of the arm member 4 and the field assembling member 3.
