摘要 An angular contact ball bearing enabling a reduction in the weight of the ball bearing while increasing the rigidity of the ball bearing in which each of the balls are brought into contact with at least one raceway surface at two points and improving the lubricating environment of the balls and maintaining the wear resistance and rigidity of the balls, the securement of the radial rigidity and axial rigidity of the ball bearing in a well-balanced state, a reduction in the manufacturing cost thereof, and the sufficient supply of a lubricating oil into inside areas between the two contact points of each of the balls and the raceway surface. A counter part (7) is formed so that a clearance is formed between the portion of each of the balls on the centerline C of the ball bearing and each of the balls (6) in such a state that each of the balls (6) is brought into contact with the raceway surface at two points. The balls (6) made of ceramics can be adopted. A wear-resistant coating may be applied to the balls (6). The contact angle of each of the balls near the centerline C of the ball bearing is set to 15 to 25‹ and the contact angle thereof apart from the centerline C of the ball bearing is set to 40 to 50‹. ® KIPO & WIPO 2008
