摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic composite material constituting refractory adapted even for firing at a higher temperature or using repeatedly and a bottom board for sintering. <P>SOLUTION: The ceramic composite material contains sillimanite crystal particles and mullite crystal particles and is formed by firing a mixture of the sillimanite crystal particles and the mullite crystal particles. The ceramic composite material has a structure formed by bonding the sillimanite crystal particles and the mullite crystal particles with an oxide consisting essentially of mullite. The ceramic composite material is formed so that the ratio of the sillimanite crystal particles and the mullite crystal particles is 1:20 to 20:1 in the ratio of integrated intensity at 2&theta;(diffraction angle)=23.2&deg; and 41.0&deg; by X-ray diffraction (using copper target and Cu-K&alpha;1 ray).
