<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter for optical connector interconnection capable of improving operability and reducing cost in the fabrication by performing light shielding in a plurality of insertion parts simultaneously by the use of a light shielding member consisting of one component. <P>SOLUTION: The adapter for optical connector interconnection includes sleeve holders 4 which are inserted to respective openings of a housing 1 having a plurality of openings on both ends capable of receiving optical connector plugs from both directions via split sleeves 3. The adapter for optical connector interconnection further includes an insertion part 12 which is removably locked between both openings of the housing 1 and a plurality of light shielding plates 13 of jutting out on the insertion part 12 so as to shield emission light from the sleeve holders 4 of the interior sides in respective openings at the same time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
