摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce ghosts to display images of high quality in an electro-optical device adopting a scanning system scanning to jump a line-like array of pixels like a region scanning system e.g. of a liquid crystal device or the like. SOLUTION: An electro-optical device provided with a drive means scanning to jump line-like arrays extending in a horizontal direction being a basic unit of display in scanning on a pixel region arraying a plurality of pixels to a vertical direction over the m (m: natural number of 1 or more) or more line-like arrays at a time, calculates a difference between an i-th image signal supplied for the line-like array of the i-th (i: natural number) on a time axis out of image signals by an image signal processing circuit (300) and (i+1)th image signal supplied for the line-like array of the (i+1)th, corrects the (i+1)th image signal based on the calculated difference, and reduces the ghosts on the pixel region caused by the existence of the i-th image signal.
