<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the dispersion of power generation amounts between cells in a fuel cell system using a dead-end form. <P>SOLUTION: A fuel cell 2 has structure in which a plurality of cells are stacked and connected in series. The plurality of cells are composed of a cell 15 and a cell stack 11. Hydrogen entered from a passage 12 into the fuel cell is supplied to each cell through a supply manifold 13. After the amount of hydrogen needed for power generation is consumed, gas is exhausted in an exhaust manifold 14 as fuel off-gas and then flows into the cell 15. Accumulation of impurities contained in the fuel off-gas in the cell 16 is prevented and the impurities are accumulated in the cell 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
