<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a passenger from being prohibited to exit an automatic ticket gate in a station where the automatic ticket gate and a platform are close to each other when the passenger passes through the automatic ticket gate after getting off a train; and accordingly, to reduce congestion around of the automatic ticket gate. <P>SOLUTION: A portable device terminal 300 acquires and stores boarding information when passing through the ticket gate 102, and stores next-station information in a train 200, which is received from a radio device 202 disposed in a train 200, and stores the latest fare table by receiving the latest fare table from a management server 203 when the fare table necessary for calculating the fare is expired. A portable device terminal 300 calculates a fare for the zone from the prestored boarding information, next-station information, fare table, and commutation-ticket data when the passenger instructs to confirm whether to pass through the automatic ticket gate 103 by means of a key input of the passenger or by sensing unbording of the passenger, and compares the balance of electronic money for a current electronic ticket, and notifies the passenger of necessary information if the balance is insufficient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
