<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handle-fitted plastic bottle that has an improved rigidity and buckling strength of the wall of a handle-mounting recess and prevents the handle-mounting recess from being buckled and deformed by a vertical load applied above. <P>SOLUTION: The handle-fitted plastic bottle has the handle-mounting recess 12 in the upper side of a bottle body 10 formed by blow molding in a cylindrical shape and has a handle 2 mounted in the recess 12. In such a plastic bottle, the wall of the handle-mounting recess 12 is formed such that a curved projecting face 13 gently protrudes toward the middle from the edges of both sides of the wall. A protruding projection 13A is formed below the part to which the upper mounting arm 22A of the handle 2 is attached. A protruding projection 13B is formed above the part to which a lower mounting arm 22B is attached.
