PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit a tip and an insertion portion to be disinfected at a low cost and the tip to be easily mounted on the insertion portion while securing a sufficient disinfection condition when the insertion portion of a rotary self-propelling endoscope is structured as disposable. SOLUTION: The endoscope tip device is a tip portion 8 installed detachably at the tip of the insertion portion body 10 of an insertion portion 6A having a flexible insertion portion body 10 inserted into a coelom and a rotary cylinder 51 rotatably externally fitted into the insertion portion body 10 and having a spirally shaped portion 51a formed of spiral irregularities, and having an imaging element 31 and a plurality of LEDs 34, and has a connector means provided with an electrical contact portion 62 electrically operably connecting the imaging element 31 and the plurality of LEDs 34 to the tip portion of the insertion portion body 10, and an engagement portion 60a to be engaged and fixed to the tip of the insertion portion body 10 when it is mounted on the tip of the insertion portion body 10.
