<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet signal receiving device capable of accurately extracting a data signal included in received packets while eliminating an influence of jitters. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is the packet signal receiving device which receives a plurality of packet signals arriving through a transmission line and extracts main signal data packetized and included in the respective received packet signals in predetermined packetization cycles, the packet signal receiving device including an extracting circuit which extracting received packet numbers, reception sequence numbers, and the main signal data from the respective received packet signals, a jitter buffer where the main signal data are written and read, and a jitter buffer control unit 27 which measures variation in reception time of the received packet based upon the reception sequence number and reference time and controls the jitter buffer in the timing based upon an arithmetic average value of measured values thereof. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
