PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the formation of any surface step between adjacent parts even if a front pillar garnish is subjected to thermal shrinkage and deformed. SOLUTION: The lower end of a front pillar garnish is formed as a substantially V-shaped fork-like body so that fore end sides are expanded. The fore ends of a pair of leg pieces constituting the fork-like body are connected to each other via a corner piece, and a triangle window glass installation part demarcated in a substantially triangular shape by the pair of leg pieces and the corner piece is constituted. An engaging hook part 11a of an engagement piece 11 formed on the corner piece is passed through an engagement hole 5b formed in an instrument panel 5 (an adjacent part), and abutted on and engaged with a back side of the instrument panel 5 to prevent any positional deviation above the corner piece 4 with respect to the instrument panel 5.
