PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a half-cutting device of a bulk meat in a simple structure, which precisely cuts the bulk meat such as a bacon meat, a ham meat, etc. in half in the cross direction by cutting it in the longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: The half-cutting device 1 is furnished with: a placing table 2 of the meat B; a cross direction position regulating means 4 provided on the placing table; a cutting means; and a meat delivery means 6. The cutting means has a long plate type cutter 3 fixed tilted forward in the delivering direction of the meat. The cross direction position regulating means is constituted to have: a pair of movable erected parts provided through on the placing table and arranged face to face; a pinion rack mechanism moving a pair of the movable erected parts 4a, 4b wide and narrow while holding them in an equal distance from a knife edge 3a of the cutter in a direction orthogonal with the delivering direction of the meat and opposed to each other; and an energizing mechanism energizing a pair of the movable erected parts in a direction at least to make them approach each other.
