PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker coated with a fluorine-containing polymer powder which achieved a high coating efficiency in an electrostatic coating method and which provides a film having properties such as heat resistance, non-tackiness, low frictional property, and chemical resistance. SOLUTION: The rice cooker is coated with the fluorine-containing polymer powder having an average particle size in the range of 5-100μm, wherein the powder is prepared by contacting polymer powder with a fluorinating agent so that the total number of -CH<SB>2</SB>OH and -COF terminal groups is decreased to 7-50 per 10<SP>6</SP>carbon atoms, then by contacting the polymer powder with ammonia gas to convert the -COF to -CONH<SB>2</SB>to obtain the polymer powder having the total number of -CH<SB>2</SB>OH and -CONH<SB>2</SB>terminal groups decreased to 7-50 per 10<SP>6</SP>carbon atoms.
