PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable, in transporting soft manufactured goods of a fixed length and width, high speed transportation in a stable state without forming wrinkles when the manufactured goods are transferred between rotational bodies such as rolls and drums. SOLUTION: The transport device is equipped with a conveyance drive mechanism comprising a drive wheel 21 rotating around a rotary shaft, a speed change part 20 for relatively movably connecting the drive wheel and a conveying part around the rotary shaft, and a speed change guide 44 to change so that the relative angular velocity of the conveying part with respect to the drive wheel around the rotary shaft becomes work receiving speed in the work receiving area and becomes work delivery speed in the work delivery area. The speed change part comprises crank arms 22 and link levers 23 arranged in the same quantity as those of the conveyance part and rotatably supported on the drive wheel side through a base part parallel to the rotary shaft, and a speed change guide 44 is non-rotatably supported and makes an arm part swing with respect to the drive wheel in the conveying direction by guiding a cam roller 223 provided eccentrically.
