<p>An inside loop hose clamp includes a band member (495,505) encircling a h ose to impart inward directed compressive force to seal the hose to a fittin g. A first loop (420,520) is defined by the first band end portion (403,503) encompassing a head (422,522) of a fastener (425,525). A distal end of the first band end portion is secured to the inward facing surface (408,508) of the band member. A second loop (421,521) is defined by the second band end ( 404,504) portion that encompasses an annular trunnion (430,530) adapted to r eceive the shank (427,527) of the fastener. A distal end of the second band end portion is secured to the inward facing surface of the band member. A th readed portion (432,532) of the shank of the fastener receives a nut (435,53 5) and tightening of the nut imparts the inward directed compressive force t o seal the hose to the fitting and to retain the distal ends of the band end portions.</p> |
