PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a celestial coordinates indicating apparatus for a telescope, capable of adding a celestial coordinates indicating function to a telescope of a user's choice. SOLUTION: A casing 18 that can be removably fitted to a telescope 80 comprises an inclination sensor 12 for measuring the inclination angle in the collimation direction of the telescope, in relation to the direction of gravitational force; a magnetic azimuth angle sensor 13 for measuring the azimuth angle in the collimation direction of the telescope; and an arithmetic control device for computing the celestial coordinates, in the collimation direction of the telescope from the inclination angle acquired by the inclination sensor 12, the azimuth angle acquired by the magnetic azimuth angle sensor 13, the latitude and longitude of the celestial observation point, and the present time.
