PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a paper cup capable of easily holding a fluid surface height position in the paper cup and easily pouring an appropriate amount of water and hot water. SOLUTION: A fluid surface height displaying means 5 provides a light and shade forming section 6, in which the peripheral wall material of a peripheral wall 3 is formed in a convex form toward in an inward or outward of a cup, for visualizing a light and shade boundary 8 intersected in the circumference of the peripheral wall by shading at the inner surface side of the peripheral wall, and the light and shade boundary 8 is discontinuously arranged in the circumference.
