PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card printing base material formed out of a regular size sheet-like base material, on which a plurality of sheets of the regular size card base materials such as calling cards or the like in good quality can be simultaneously printed. SOLUTION: This card printing base material includes a first sheet-like base material 20 having a plurality of notched lines 22 and divided by the notched lines 22 into a plurality of card base materials 21 under the condition that a remaining allowance 23 is left behind in its peripheral edge part, a first adhesive layer 30, which is provided on one side of each of a plurality of the card base materials 21 and has re-releasing characteristics, second adhesive layers 31 provided on the same side as that of the first adhesive layer 30 of the remaining allowance 23, and a second sheet-like base material 40, to which the first sheet-like base material 20 is stuck through the first adhesive layer 30 and the second adhesive layers 31, wherein the width dimensions of the remaining allowance 23 or those of an upper end part 2T and a lower end part 23B and/or those of a left end part 23L and a right end part 23R are different from each other.
