PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sponge blasting apparatus greatly suppressing the dispersion of blast media and facilitating the recovery of the blast media. SOLUTION: This sponge blasting apparatus includes a blasting section 20 having a blast casing 40 having an opening part 26 at one end and a nozzle 30 attached to the other end of the casing, a supply section supplying the blast media 3 and compressed gas to the nozzle 30, and a recovery section sucking and recovering the blast media 3 from the nozzle 30. The nozzle 30 is provided with an ejection port 33 ejecting the blast media 3 to the interior of the casing 40, and a suction port 35 sucking and recovering the ejected blast media 3 from the interior of the casing 40 by a negative pressure.
