PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the placement of forearms at prescribed positions on a measuring device without making an examinee take excessively forced attitudes. SOLUTION: The bone density measuring device 10 has a table 18 where forearms are placed and an arm part 22 so positioned as to cover the top of the table 18 while being parallel with it. The table 18 and the arm part 22 are so inclined as to be higher on the side facing the examinee. In this manner, when the examinee places the forearms on the table, the forearms can be smoothly inserted while preventing his shoulders from contacting the arm part 22 so easily, thereby making the examinee take natural attitudes freely.
