摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce false signals, caused by the electrochemical conversion of even an unreacted nucleotide 5'-triphosphate derivative that remains in a solution on an electrode in an electrochemical decoding device of DNA base sequences. <P>SOLUTION: The constitution of a polymerase-fixed electrode, comprising both an electrically conductive substrate and a polymerase unit fixed to a surface of the electrically conductive substrate, is to be constituted uses a polymerase unit which comprises a polymerase part; an anchor part; and an electrically conducive part, and in which the polymerase part; the anchor part; and the electrically conducive part are constituted by connecting (1) the polymerase part; the anchor part; and the electrically conducive part, in this order, or (2) the polymerase part; the electrically conductive part; and the anchor part, in this order.
