<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To conduct keyword searches on related information by means of an Internet search engine by selecting words that are not necessarily banalized yet but that give a new impression as words highly likely to interest users, and setting the selected words as keywords. <P>SOLUTION: The input of text information supplied is received by a text information input part 101. Words contained in the text information are individually identified by a word identifying part 104. The words identified are collated with a word database 110 prepared, to evaluate the level of difficulty of each word. The words whose levels of difficulty evaluated are above a predetermined standard are selected as keyword candidates by a keyword selecting part 104.
