<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper-made container for a liquid which is formed of a paper as a base material, and composed of an outermost layer of a thermoplastic resin layer of a mirror surface, a metallic luster layer between the resin layer and the base material, and a barrier layer on the content side while a decorative effect close to that of a hot stamp is given on the surface of the outermost layer. <P>SOLUTION: The container (B) for the liquid is made of a laminated material (A) composed of a paper as the base material (1) on which an outermost layer of a thermoplastic resin layer (2) having a smooth mirror surface, a metallic luster layer (9) between the resin layer (2) and the base material (1), a gas barrier layer (3) on a back side of the base material (1), and an innermost layer of a sealant layer (4) are successively laminated. The container comprises a top part (11) having a spout (14), a barrel part (12) and a bottom part (13).
