<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for a flexible substrate capable of surely preventing an inserted flexible substrate from coming off even if it is a Non-ZIF type, and capable of surely blocking harmful magnetic waves at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: The connector for a flexible substrate is provided with a housing 30 for the flexible substrate 20 to be inserted into and pulled from, a lock member 40 arranged in the housing 30 in opposition to an engagement part 23 of the inserted flexible substrate 20 for engagement with the engagement part 23, and a shield plate 50 fitted to the housing 30 to surround its side part. A spring part 60 to face to a shield foil 22 of the flexible substrate 20 inserted into the housing 30 is formed on the shield plate 50, to be elastically connected to the shield foil 22 to bias the flexible substrate 20 to a direction for its engagement part 23 to be pressed to the lock member 40 of the connector 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
