PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small solid electrolytic capacitor having high capacity and low ESR characteristics, with respect to the solid electrolytic capacitor with a solid electrolyte of conductive high polymer. SOLUTION: The solid electrolytic capacitor includes an anode electrode oxide coating layer, formed on the surface of an aluminum base having coarsely formed surface, a precoating layer formed on the anode electrode oxide coating layer, and a conductive high polymer layer as solid electrolyte formed on the pre-coat layer. Here, the precoating layer contains polystyrenesulfonic acid, or its salt, mixed with aliphatic organic acid that has a hydroxyl group and a carboxylic acid group. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
