摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device in which an area ratio of routed wiring in a transverse direction occupying in a peripheral area of a display region can be suitably matched and the display region can be arranged in the central part of the display device. SOLUTION: In the matrix type image display device 100, the display region (14) is bisected with the central part as a boundary and scanning lines (GL1 to GLn, GR1 to GRn) are also bisected so as to be associated with the above two-regions and are driven at different timings respectively by separate gate drivers (3, 4). By such configuration, data lines (DL1 to DL) are subjected to time division driving and further, the two data lines are connected, and thereby the number of output pieces of the source drivers (2) can be halved.
