PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the stable discharge characteristic of a plunger pump for discharging engine lubricating oil by preventing the pump from being locked by foreign matter caught therein, etc. SOLUTION: The plunger pump includes a plurality of plungers 20, a drive means 60, and a pump body 10 holding the plurality of plungers slidably in the same direction and defining passages for sucking and discharging fluid or for allowing the fluid to flow in and out. The drive means 60 includes a solenoid rod 61 which exerts a driving force in the reciprocating direction of the plurality of plungers, a connecting member 50 intervening between the solenoid rod and the plurality of plungers for transmitting a driving force at least in the ongoing direction of the solenoid rod and for connecting the plurality of plungers together while securing a predetermined degree of freedom, and a spring 40 for exerting a biasing force in the returning direction of the plurality of plungers to move the plurality of plungers backward.
