PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw fastening device facilitating the attachment/detachment of a component retainer part and capable of fastening even a single screw at a high speed. SOLUTION: This screw fastening device 31 is characterized in that a component retainer mechanism 38 has a component retainer mechanism body 39 provided in a screw retainer part 33, a clamp body 47 rotationally provided in the component retainer mechanism body 39, a first spring 57 pushing the clamp body 47 to the screw retainer part 33, a component chuck 65 axially movably mounted on the component retainer mechanism body 39, and a second spring 69 pushing the chuck 65 toward a fastening object component.
