PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate washing work and to prevent uneven washing by expanding a washed area without reducing the momentum of a washing liquid ejected from a washing nozzle. SOLUTION: The washing apparatus 1 for the floor surface or the like comprises an annular brush 3, a scattering preventive cover 5, a swivelling shaft 9, a swivelling pipe 31, a nozzle attaching member 35, and the washing nozzle 39. The washing nozzle 39 comprises a casing 47, an oscillation space 49 and an oscillator 53. The oscillator 53 is constituted to eject the washing liquid W while rotationally oscillating with a point near an opening 63 formed at the bottom of the oscillation space 49 as the fulcrum of oscillation by the momentum of flow of the washing liquid W fed into the oscillation space 49.
