PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a western toilet bowl apparatus which prevents splash of urine, washing water, etc. to the outside of a toilet bowl and reduces diffusion of a malodor by improving sealing property inside of the toilet bowl. SOLUTION: An elastic body 11 is fitted to the rear surface of a toilet seat 14. Thus, when the toilet seat 14 is closed, the upper surface 12a of the rim part of toilet bowl main body 19 abuts on the elastic body 11 to prevent forming of a gap between the toilet seat 14 and the upper surface 12a of the rim part.
