PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof carrier having high load resistance and suppressed in manufacturing cost while reducing wind roar generated by a frame. SOLUTION: The roof carrier installed on a roof of a vehicle to load luggage is composed: of a plurality of frames each having substantially the length of the vehicular width arranged in parallel with each other at an interval in the fore-and-aft direction of the vehicle, and loading luggage; two panels attached at both ends of the plurality of frames at right angles with respect to the length direction thereof; and fixing members fixing the two plates at the end of the left side or the right side of the roof of the vehicle. The frame has a substantially horizontal loading surface, and a cross section orthogonal to the length direction is formed into a substantially circular shape. On the cross section, a minor axis oriented in a substantially vertical direction is not shorten than 35mm, and a front edge radius is not larger than a front edge radius of an ellipse having the minor axis and a major axis of the same length as that of the cross section.
