<p>A cover for rollers used in spinning mills consists of a film of cellulose or difficulty-ignitable cellulose derivatives together with cork flour or similar finely divided filling material. The covering is preferably made in the form of an annular body of regenerated cellulose containing cork and capable of swelling in water, the covering being moistened, placed on the roller and allowed to shrink thereon by drying.</p> |
