A window catch security device comprising an attachment member, for example a tubular member, which is placed over the window catch lever or handle 2 and prevents the lever 2 from being rotated. The device may connect two levers 2 together and can be held in place by a spring-loaded mechanism (Fig 5) which can be released only by someone inside the vehicle. The device may be also used with windows where there is only one catch lever: the attachment member then has a 90 degree bend 15 at one end which contacts with the window ledge preventing rotation of the lever 2. The window catch security device is designed to be used with the pivoting window handles found in a caravan or motorhome. |
