<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain displacement of an image formed on a recording sheet. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: an endless belt member (B) disposed in contact with a recording sheet (S) passed through a transfer area where a toner image is transferred, and used for conveying the recording sheet (S) downstream in the direction of sheet conveyance; a belt upstream conveying member (Rr) disposed upstream in the direction of sheet conveyance by the belt member (B) and used for conveying the recording sheet (S) to the belt member (B); and a conveying speed adjustment means (C6) by which, based on the environment where the image forming apparatus is used, the conveying speed of at least the belt member (B) or belt upstream conveying member (Rr) is adjusted within a predetermined range set for restraining toner image displacement. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
