<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output apparatus capable of accurately outputting color space information in image data production. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 31 of a color printer 20 performs gamma correction and a matrix operation M on RGB color space image data derived from a matrix S operation. The CPU 31 performs gamma conversion on video data using established gamma correction values. Matrix operation M is arithmetic processing for converting the RGB color space to the XYZ color space. When performing matrix operation M, the CPU 31 refers to a Print Matching tag in order to reflect the matrix operation with color space at the time of image data production and performs the matrix operation using a matrix (M) corresponding to color space written in the file. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
