PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifunction machine control system capable of executing previously registered processing by one operation without preparing a new button.

SOLUTION: The multifunction machine can switch a standard operation mode for stopping the operation of a Web service layer and an OS mode for operating the Web service layer, and in the OS mode, notifies hard button depression information indicating a hard button of which depression is detected by a user interface layer to an external controller. In the controller, an event processing part reads processing contents information corresponding to button identification information indicating the same hard button as the hard button depression information from a shortcut button storage part and a device control part transmits a control instruction instructing the execution of device processing indicated by the processing contents information. Then the Web service layer acquires the control instruction from the controller and executes the device processing in accordance with the acquired control instruction.
