<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct an image to suit a user's taste while suppressing update costs; and to improve satisfaction of a user who views the image. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing system comprises a step 501 of reading an image browse log of a macro point of view; a step 502 of selecting a photograph position to be updated; a step 506 of reading the browse log at the micro point of view of the image at the position; a step 507 of determining a frequently browesed area as a representative area; a step 508 of cutting out an image of the selected representative area; a step 509 of correcting the image; a step 510 of producing a LUT (lookup table) by examining changes of corresponding pixels for the images before and after correction in the step 509; a step 511 of correcting images other than the representative area; a step 512 of confirming the position of the updated image and reading the image in the surroundings; and a step 513 of performing joint processing between the updated image and surrounding images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
