PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent residual deformation for blocking an opening in an almost U shape in a slot material even if it is inserted into a slot, and to prevent interference when a coil is inserted into the slot in the slot material of a rotary electric machine. SOLUTION: In a three-layer structure of a high elastic material layer 23 where the slot material 19 is formed with a high elastic material such as insulating synthetic rubber, a high flexible material layer 25 formed by a high flexible material such as an insulating polyethylene sheet, and an adhesive layer 27 bonding the two layers; the high elastic material layer 23 on an inner side (coil side) is made thicker than the high flexible material layer 25 on an outer side (inner face side of slot).
