SOLUTION: A determination apparatus includes: a data generating section for generating data of each of histograms by each color for denoting the distribution of the number of pixels with respect to a density value of each color of pixels configuring an image; an attribute information acquisition section that demarcates a region expressed by each histogram by each color into two or more small regions by the magnitude of respective density values on the basis of the generated data of each histogram by each color, selects a small region whose density value is greater than that of at least the other small region as a first small region out of the two or more small regions by each color, selects the other small region whose density value is smaller than that of the first small region as a second small region by each color, and respectively acquires attribute information associated with the first small region and the second small region by each color; and a determination section that determines whether the color balance of the image is unbalanced in the first small region on the basis of the acquired attribute information by each color associated with the first small region and the second small region.
