PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support base with which deformation of a scanner in the scanning direction by thermal expansion is prevented, to provide a scanner device with the scanner disposed on the support base, and to provide an image recorder formed by combining the image formation part with the scanner device. SOLUTION: The support base has: a scanner mounting part 100 to which one edge and the other edge along the scanning direction of the scanner 6 are mounted; a scanner fixing means for fixing one edge of the scanner 6 to the scanner mounting part 100; and a scanner mounting means for mounting the other edge of the scanner 6 to the scanner mounting part 100 to be movable along the scanning direction. The scanner device is formed by loading the scanner 6 on the support base 4 and the image recorder is formed by combining a printer 10 with the scanner device. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
