PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the cost performance about the FAX transmission and reception by receiving FAX data from the call terminating side by the same call in a real time FAX communication. SOLUTION: When a data processor 102 at the originating side sends an EOP signal for showing that the final page of FAX data has been sent in S608, a data processor 103 at the terminating side sends (re-)INVITE (S609) instead of returning an MCF signal. The process in S609 prevents the call disconnection from the originating side, and this builds up a T. 38 media channel for sending FAX data from the processor 103 at the terminating side to the processor 102 at the originating side.
